Hundreds of employees and physicians from across SSM Health Care gathered to share best practices, hear success stories and steal ideas for improving patient care at SSM's 2008 Showcase for Sharing at the St. Charles Convention Center in October.
With the theme “Extreme Makeover: SSM Edition,” the event featured information-packed skits and break-out sessions representing the best “extreme makeovers” within our health-care system. The ground-breaking projects ranged from SSM St. Joseph Hospital West's journey as the system's first facility to move from paper to electronic health records to SSM St. Joseph Hospital of Kirkwood’s bold new approach to patient care through the design of its new campus set to open next year. SSMHC also recognized the first graduates of its CQIplus project team leader training. View a list of the graduates.
