Outpatient surgery procedures, which do not require an overnight stay, enable patients to be in and out of the hospital within hours.  The Outpatient Surgery Center at SSM St. Joseph Hospital West is easily accessible from the semicircle South entrance on the ground floor of the hospital.  For your convenience, please park in the Purple (P) parking zone. 

Admitting, surgery preparation, family waiting and patient recovery are located in one central location.  From the time you walk in the door, you will receive personalized attention from our friendly staff.  Ninety-nine percent of outpatient surgery patients have the same nurse both before and after surgery.  We believe that getting to know you helps us to provide exceptional patient care!

The Outpatient Surgery Center, newly built in 2006, has 19 private rooms with semi-private adjoining bathrooms.  Each room is comfortably equipped with a recliner and a flat-screen television.  During your surgical procedure, family members can wait in your room, or in the spacious surgery waiting area.
