To prepare you for your parenting journey, we have helpful classes for new and expectant parents, as well as for siblings, grandparents and even babysitters.   When it’s time to deliver, you and your family will enjoy our all-private suites, where your baby can room with you.  Eat what you like with our room service dining, and as a special treat, your guest will receive two free meals a day!  Plus…don’t forget to bring your laptop!  If you would like to e-mail some pictures during your stay, St. Joseph Hospital West provides free Wi-Fi Internet access for our guests.  And those are just the little perks!

High Risk Obstetrics/Maternal-Fetal Medicine
The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department at SSM St. Joseph Hospital West is one of the best in the region. It is supported by neonatologists from Saint Louis University’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Health.  Services include high-risk pregnancy management and a range of prenatal diagnostic services.

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine office is located on the second floor of Medical Office Building 2 in Suite 221.  The office can be reached at (636) 625-7730.

Special Care Nursery
Should your baby need a little extra care at birth, SSM St. Joseph Hospital West is equipped with a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).   This Special Care Nursery is able to care for infants born as early as 32 weeks gestation.
