Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Express offers a faster approach to kid's emergency care.
The goal is to completely eliminate children and parents from having to wait for a room to open up in the emergency room. When your child is hurting, you don't want a long wait in the emergency room. SSM St. Joseph Hospital West places patients ages 15 and under on the fast track with an emergency unit dedicated just to them.
Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Express moves children quickly from waiting room to exam room during peak hours in our emergency department. In-room movies and activities help pass the time as your child is treated by specially trained nurses and a pediatrician from SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. It's fast, dedicated care that's not only easier on kids, its easier on you.
Inpatient Pediatrics on 2 East
St. Joseph Hospital West is known for providing the best care for our smallest patients. That's why we have an inpatient unit for our pediatric patients. The rooms are designed to help put the smallest of patients at ease. Specially trained nurses and pediatricians from SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center work with parents to provide exceptional care for children. The "kiddie wagon" can be seen coming through the halls at St. Joseph Hospital West to give kids on the mend a way to get around the hospital in a fun way.
